Spiders!

This morning my kids came in to tell me there was a big spider in by the computer. I had no idea that I would see this... Check out it's web! It made the web between the computer desk and the computer chair. Crazy! We have enjoyed watching these big spiders outside by our porch lights making their webs and eating poor little unfortunate bugs. But in my house I am not such a big fan! :( We had another one of these in my room the other day on my ceiling, I captured it in a tub and put it outside way away from the house. ( Do you like how I used the word "capture"? It makes it sound more dangerous doesn't it?) Now, the little guy this morning didn't fair so well... Matt was home. He found himself squished between two books. Anyone have any idea what kind of spiders these are?
