Well, We had another fun year at the triathlon down in Socorro. This year we had a whole crew do it from M's side of the family. We had M and our three oldest A's, M's mom and Dad, M's sister and nephew and M's sister-in-law. Everyone did great!
M was 2nd in his age group and 7th overall.
Big A was 3rd in his age group.
Double A was 1st in her age group. She was also the youngest competitor in the full triathlon.
Double A was 1st in her age group. She was also the youngest competitor in the full triathlon.
Triple A was 2nd in his age group in the kid triathlon.
M's mom placed 3rd in her age group. And Melinda our sister-in-law placed 5th in her A/G.
And M's sister her son, and his dad did a relay and placed 4th.
While waiting for the awards the kids found a frog!

WOW, all you A's! And M too! I love this! Someday you guys need to teach us all your skills! This is right up my alley. Did Double A really do the full 5K, etc.? How long were the bike and swim?
She did do the whole triathlon. It is only a sprint. So the swim is 400 meters, The bike 12 miles and the run a 5K. I don't think they are allowed to do anything longer than that until they are 14. Maybe even 16. Swim team has totally paid off for this. Double A's swim time was 8:27 and Big A's was 7:27. But it was totally a blast watching them do it. Maybe next year you and I should do it..... Are you up for it?
